Dr. Williams attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology. He then went on to the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he graduated valedictorian and earned his dental degree with high distinction. While attending dental school, Dr. Williams received over 10 awards for his academic achievements including awards from the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Williams then finished his schooling by completing the highly regarded orthodontic program at the University of Washington.

Dr. Williams is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the American Associate of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. In addition, he is Invisalign certified. Recently, he was selected by peers as a 5280 magazine Top Dentist in the Field of Orthodontics.

Dr. Williams returned to Colorado in 2003 to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle he loves. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, mountain biking, road biking, and hiking.
