• Get to know the patient and evaluate the needs and concerns of both the patient and the dentist.
• Complete a thorough assessment of the relationships of the teeth, jaw bones, and jaw joint.
• Outline the varying treatment alternatives, treatment timing, scheduling and cost.
• Plan and discuss the next steps of any appropriate orthodontic treatment.
